When is the best time to book a maternity session?
The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy, when your baby bump is beautifully visible and you’re still comfortable posing.
How do I confirm my booking?
To secure your date and time, a 20% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract are required. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.
What is included in a maternity session?
All maternity sessions include:
* Planning consultation (phone or email)
* Guided posing throughout the session
* Professionally hand-edited images
* Online proof gallery for image selection (available for 1 week)
Raw images are not provided. Additional edited images may be purchased separately.
Do you provide outfits or should I bring my own?
Yes, I offer a client wardrobe for studio sessions
For outdoor sessions, the client closet is minimal, and I recommend bringing your own outfits. I’ll guide you with styling suggestions so everything photographs beautifully.
Is the session indoor or outdoor?
Yes, both options are available:
Basic & Deluxe sessions:Choose either indoor or outdoor
Premium sessions: Include both indoor studio and outdoor locations
Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent and planned at nearby scenic locations.
Can my partner or children be included?
Partner portraits are welcome in all maternity sessions. Children can also be included in select experiences. Please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
How long does a maternity session last?
Sessions typically last between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the session type and number of outfit changes.
What if the weather is unfavorable for an outdoor session?
Weather is monitored closely. If conditions are not ideal, the session can be rescheduled or moved indoors to ensure the best possible results.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup are not included by default but can be **added to any session for an additional fee**. I’m happy to recommend trusted artists upon request.
When will we receive our photos?
Your edited gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of the session date. You’ll be able to select your included images and purchase additional images if desired.
Where are you located?
My studio is based in Sultan, WA, with outdoor sessions held at nearby scenic locations.
How do we move forward after choosing a date?
Once your date and time are finalized, please share your full name and email address. I’ll send over the contract and payment details to officially reserve your session.

When is the best time to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed when your baby is 7–21 days old. During this stage, babies are sleepier and easier to gently pose. Lifestyle sessions can still be done slightly later if needed.
Do you offer both in-studio and in-home newborn sessions?
Yes!
In-Studio Newborn Sessions focus on wrapped and posed newborn portraits in a controlled, cozy studio environment.
In-Home Newborn Sessions capture relaxed, lifestyle moments in the comfort of your home, with an option for styled setups in select packages.

What is the difference between your newborn collections?
Simple Collection: Wrapped newborn poses only, parent portraits included, no sibling photos.
Family Favorite Collection: Wrapped and unwrapped poses with family and sibling portraits included.
Premium Experience Collection: A luxury session with multiple artistic setups, special mom-and-baby portraits, one themed setup, and a framed print.
In-Home Newborn Sessions: Lifestyle-focused sessions at home, with an optional Signature experience that includes props and wardrobe.
Are props, wraps, and setups included?
Yes.
All studio sessions include wraps and props based on the collection selected.
Premium collections include more setups and one themed setup.
For styled sessions, up to 2–5 setups are used depending on the package to keep the session calm and baby-led.
Can I request specific colors, themes, or props?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to share inspiration images, color preferences, or theme ideas in advance. For themed or vibrant setups, these are best suited for Premium or Signature experiences.
Are parents and siblings included in the session?
Parent portraits are included in all newborn sessions.
Sibling portraits are included in Family Favorite, Premium, and select in-home sessions.
Siblings are not included in the Simple Collection.
Do you provide wardrobe or gowns for mom?
In-home & Studio Simple newborn sessions: Moms are encouraged to wear their own neutral, soft-toned outfits.
In-Home & studio Signature sessions: Include mom’s wardrobe along with newborn wraps and outfits.
If you have a specific gown or look in mind, feel free to ask — I’m happy to guide or accommodate when possible.
How long does a newborn session last?
Session length depends on the collection selected:
Simple Collection: 60–90 minutes
Family Favorite Collection: Up to 2.5 hours
Premium Experience Collection: Up to 3.5 hours
In-Home Sessions: 2.5–3 hours
All sessions are baby-led, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes.
What if my baby is fussy during the session?
That’s completely normal and expected. Newborn sessions are slow, gentle, and flexible. Breaks for feeding and comforting are always included.
When and how will we receive our photos?
A proof sheet will be shared within 1 week after your session to select your images.
Final hand-edited images are delivered within 2–3 weeks after selection.
Additional images may be purchased separately.
Are raw images provided?
No. Raw images are not shared. Only professionally hand-edited images are delivered.
Where are you located?
My studio is located in Sultan, WA. In-home newborn sessions are photographed at your residence within the surrounding areas.
